The 2008 Fitzpatrick's Xmas festival €20,000 Guaranteed Main Event was a great end to the poker year.The poker room was filled with 60 players battling it out over two days of play with some bad beats and great calls before a winner was finally decided late late on Sunday night!

After some great aggressive play Senan Dormer was finally busted out heads up against the winner Ger O'Brien. Ger picked up €7900 cash and a trophy for his victory.

The supporting event on day two of the festival had forty players in the €7500 Guaranteed event with winner Bill Power finally getting the better of Rory Hogan.
